FAQs

Do you accept every client?

No.  We spend a great deal of time, energy and effort on all of our clients. It is very important that we are a good fit for each other. If it is not a good fit, for any reason, we will make sure you are in the hands of folks who can better assist you.

I want to use you but can’t afford you – can you work with us?

Depending on your business, we have alliances with local banks and lending agencies that can often make your dreams more affordable than you might have guessed. Regardless, we have many free/very low cost programs you are welcome to participate in.  Additionally, in certain cases we will consider business partnerships.

I want financing from the bank – can you help us?

Yes. Banks are looking to make sure you can pay back your loan in a timely manner, and that you have a good plan by which to do so. Success Center works with you to create a great plan that gets the bankers’ attention.  Some banks will also give preference to our clients because they know that businesses that use Success Center are less risky, more profitable and have an easier time making loan payments on or ahead of time.

I want a smaller loan than my bank wants to write- can you help us?

Yes. We have partnerships with banks and other lending institutions that allow us to combine loans with other small businesses to help you get the small loan you are looking for.

Is my business too small to be a client for SCUSA?

Maybe, but if you’re serious about your business, we are too.  While we may not be able to help you, we’ll take the time to get to understand your needs.  Then we will refer you to others who can help you.  We are designed only to serve a specific size of business.  In the cases that we shouldn’t help you, we do refer you to the perfect place to handle businesses that are too small, or too large, for Success Center.

What’s the difference between Success Center USA and a business consultant?

At Success Center USA, we actually DO implement all of our recommendations.  We have a long-term vested interest in your success.  Typically, business consultants match you with solution providers that they aren’t responsible for, and are generally done working with you shortly after the check clears their bank account.

What’s the difference between SCUSA and an accountant?

A really great accountant wrings every last tax dollar out of the IRS, State, and local tax codes.  Taxes are one of the larger expenses and serious attention must be paid to controlling them. They are an integral part of any business success. Income taxes are not the only area of concern.  You may wish to hire your children, provide, or not provide health insurance to your employees, and you will certainly want to examine your retirement plan.  You will want accurate tax projections and plans to avoid unpleasant surprises.  That is the domain of your accountant.  As with any other profession, there are a variety of accountants with varying specialties and who prefer to work with various types and sizes of businesses.  Every client at Success Center USA will enjoy the benefits of top-notch accounting.  If you already have an accountant you are happy with, he or she will become part of your service team.  If you don’t have one, we work closely with great accountants who specialize in businesses of your type and size. In fact, accountants love working with Success Center clients because one of the services Success Center does provide is easy, accurate and affordable bookkeeping.  That means the accountant gets the clean, useful data, that allows him/her to do their best work.

What’s the difference between Success Center USA and a marketing firm?

Success Center USA’s marketing plans are designed around strategies, not tactics, to make sure you are communicating with the right people, at the right time, using the right message. A marketing firm typically will not match the program he or she offers you to your ability to deliver, your personnel, or a great many other internal factors that affect the benefit you get from your marketing dollar. Marketing is not sending out ‘lumpy mail,’ clicking “send” on some electronic greeting cards, or buying an old fashioned mass market media ad. It is all of that and much, much more, but only when placed in a strategic framework that delivers consistent and predictable results.

We create that strategic framework that shepards prospects into clients into loyal enthusiasts.

Is it too early to start with SCUSA?

Probably not. Much of our best work can be done before your business opens its doors. Our expert business advisors can help multiply your available starting funds, save countless hours solving the questions that all small businesses struggle with, and help you make sure that your business plan is well thought out and likely to be profitable sooner. If you are serious about your idea, we will be too.
